Professional Email Etiquette – Do’s and Don’ts

Professional email behavior is expected from all employees. Please follow these guidelines:

 

✔ Use polite and clear language

✔ Mention subject clearly

✔ Avoid sending messages in ALL CAPS

✔ Use proper greetings and sign-off

✔ Do not forward messages without verifying

✔ Avoid emotional or angry responses

 

Good Example:

Subject: Request for System Access

Hi Team,

Please enable login access for CRM. User ID: 102

Thanks,

– Name

 

❌ Bad Example:

Subject: URGENT!!!!

My LOGIN NOT WORKING!!! FIX ASAP!!!
